Twelve years ago, I planned this exact game and only two people showed up. We ate barbecue instead, and I shelved the idea.
Eighteen players showed up on a windy Saturday morning, two teams, green, blue, and red flags planted across Prospect Park's Long Meadow Field, 526 acres. There were captures, a few jailbreaks, diving tags, hamstrings were stretched, questionable cardio (ZONE 5 was reached on a few Fitbits) — and when the dust settled, Red Team took the title.
To everyone who showed up, ran hard, got tagged, broke teammates out of jail — thank you. I needed this. And look at the community we've built. This is a tradition now.
CTF27 is coming. Drop your info and you'll be the first to know when the date is set. No spam — just game day.
When CTF27 gets a date, you'll be the first to know. Tell a friend who'd lose their mind for a day like this.
If you were on the field this year — you know. If you missed it, the photos above tell the story, and the list above fixes it for next time.
See you in 2027.
